Revillaging + Grounding + Slowing down and being in connection to our environment and our community with Stevie Storck.

In this episode, Emily + Stevie discuss what the term re-villaging means, how life is cyclical, full of birth and death, and re-birth, and our businesses are no different. They discuss how focusing on creating a business that sustains the long term actually creates successful + abundant short-term results as well.

Stevie describes how the pandemic + being a new mother forced her to slow down and she was able to experience the magic of watching her daughter discover the world around her. That coupled with her newfound love of gardening led her to want to live a slower, simpler pace of life being connected with the seasons of nature. This was the birth of her Cross Quarter Club. A club that meets seasonally throughout the year and includes a creative workshop, a sharing activity, as well as community building.

As a former Interior Designer, Stevie shares about her course she is in the process of launching. She recognized that as a society we are conditioned by shows like HGTV to think decorating takes place as a massive overhaul in a short period of time, but that isn’t a reality for the majority of the population. Her course will be designed to help you to discover your unique style, design your space and decorate your room, at your own pace with a realistic budget, and without the help of an interior designer.

As a founding member of the WMNûp community, when Emily asked her what this community has done for her Stevie referred to it as the fertilizer that she was needing for her garden.

Don’t miss this conversation revolving around slowing life down and embracing the community around you. Tune in now!
